Track & Softball Updates:

Our "Home" Track Meet located at GMS originally scheduled for Thursday, April 28th against GMS was canceled due to rain. Our "Home" Track Meet vs SMS located at GMS on Tuesday, May 3rd was also canceled due to rain. Both meets have been rescheduled as a Tri-Meet on Monday, May 9th at GMS.

The Home Softball Game scheduled for Thursday, May 5th against AGW has been canceled and rescheduled for Wednesday, May 18th at Drew.
 
For today's (May 5th) Track Meet at AGW there will only be running events. There will not be any field events due to the wet conditions. Also, due to the change the meet will end earlier - around 5:30 PM.

National Teacher Appreciation Week in Stafford County Public Schools

Stafford County Schools recognizes Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2nd - 6th.   Please read the Proclamation that was adopted by the School Board on April 26, 2016.

2016 Summer Arts Camps

Arts Summer Camps are open to students whose families are residents of Stafford County.  Students will explore topics in visual art, drama, and music through hands-on experiences. Camps are designed to be fun and educational; they are taught by licensed teachers from Stafford County Public Schools. Grade level for participants is grade level in September 2016. Dates, hours and tuition vary for each camp. Parents must provide transportation to and from the camp site at the stated times. Extended day services are NOT available and all children must be picked up on time at the conclusion of camp. Please indicate first, second or third choices, (per week) if desired. Payment must accompany registration; students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Camps may be canceled due to low registration. Camp registration and payment must be received by June 27.  Please use the link below for complete details and registration.

Drew Middle School's first year of operation was in 1975. Prior to the school being a middle school, it was the original Stafford High School. Drew was named after Mr. Edward E. Drew, Jr. – have you ever wanted to know more about him?
